Kevin De Bruyne may be approaching the final chapter of his career, but the Belgian midfielder showed once again that he can still make a decisive impact when it matters.

The 35-year-old scored twice as Belgium defeated Turkey 3-0 at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne, while also reaching a major personal milestone.

De Bruyne opened the scoring after combining with a teammate through a quick one-two before cutting into the right side of the penalty area. He then finished with his trademark low strike to give Belgium the lead.

The goal also marked a significant milestone for the Belgian star, taking his combined tally for club and country to 200 goals.

He was not finished, though. In the 60th minute, De Bruyne doubled Belgium's advantage with a superb curling right-footed effort from outside the box. The second goal took his combined club and international tally to 201.

Romelu Lukaku added Belgium's third in the 76th minute. The experienced striker calmly finished from inside the box to score his 94th international goal.

Turkey could not find a response as Belgium completed a convincing 3-0 victory.

For De Bruyne, it was a memorable night on both team and individual levels: two goals, a comfortable victory and the achievement of 200 career goals for club and country before moving beyond the milestone to 201.
