Moushumi's son Fardin threatens legal action over smear campaign against his mother.
Fardin Ehsan Swadhin, son of the renowned Dhallywood star couple Omar Sani and Moushumi, has given the relevant social media pages a 24-hour deadline to remove content spreading misinformation about his mother. He warned that if the content is not removed within this timeframe, he would take legal action, including sending a legal notice and filing a lawsuit.
Fardin issued this warning in a post on his verified Facebook page at 1:57 AM on Tuesday (October 13).
In the post, he wrote, "I am giving you 24 hours; after that, a legal notice and a lawsuit will follow. Before saying such things, I need to see how much guts the person has and whether they were even born in Bangladesh. My mother is the crown on my head. Enough is enough—pack up and go home. You have 24 hours to delete this stuff; otherwise, we’ll see what happens the day after tomorrow."
Screenshots of two Facebook pages were visible in Fardin's post. He alleged that these pages were circulating misleading content regarding Omar Sani and Moushumi's family. He also shared a video link with the post, though the video was no longer accessible upon clicking the link.
Previously, rumors had circulated on social media claiming that Fardin had cunningly transferred the family's entire estate into his own name and subsequently evicted his mother from their home in the United States. However, Omar Sani dismissed these allegations as completely false and baseless.
Omar Sani stated that Fardin currently resides in Dubai, while Moushumi is staying in the United States. He asserted that they do not own any property in the US, thereby declaring the reports of Moushumi being evicted from a home there to be false and fabricated.
Meanwhile, Omar Sani shared his son's Facebook post on his own timeline and thanked him, expressing his support for Fardin's stance against the misinformation spread about his mother.
Discussions are now underway regarding whether the pages in question will remove the content within the 24-hour deadline set by Fardin.
