Actor Chris Pratt, who portrays the popular character, has confirmed that audiences will see him again on screen. However, the Hollywood star has not yet revealed when or in which project the character will make his comeback.

Speaking on The Playlist's Bingeworthy podcast, Pratt discussed the future of Star-Lord and revealed that he remains in regular contact with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and producer Louis D'Esposito. According to the actor, the studio is taking steps to fulfil its commitment to bringing the character back.

“You will see Star-Lord again, which is very exciting,” Pratt said. However, he added that he was not yet permitted to reveal when or through which project the character would return.

His comments have raised expectations among fans eager to see the beloved Marvel hero back in action. For now, though, Marvel has not officially announced whether Star-Lord will appear in a new film, television series or another MCU project.

Chris Pratt Has Ideas for Star-Lord's Future

Pratt had previously discussed his ideas for the character's future during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. The actor revealed that he had shared his thoughts about Star-Lord's potential next chapter with Kevin Feige.

Although Pratt has expressed interest in the character's future, the details of those discussions remain undisclosed. Fans will therefore have to wait for further information about the storyline, the timing of his return and how Star-Lord might connect with other Marvel characters.

Star-Lord's Journey Across Six Marvel Films

Chris Pratt has portrayed Peter Quill, better known as Star-Lord, in six Marvel films. His appearances include all three instalments of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Thor: Love and Thunder.

The ending of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, released in 2023, also left the door open for the character's future return. Pratt's latest comments have now brought that possibility back into the spotlight.

Star-Lord remains one of Marvel's best-known cosmic characters. His humour, love of music and adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy have helped make him a fan favourite around the world.

With Pratt confirming that Star-Lord will return, attention now turns to Marvel Studios for further details. Until an official announcement arrives, the project's identity, release date and storyline remain a mystery.
